Real World Evidence (RWE) refers to insights generated from analyzing real-world production data. In Poultry medicine, RWE helps demonstrate the value of a product while quickly expanding our understanding through large and continuously growing datasets.
At Ceva, we have developed strong data analytics capabilities to better understand, adapt and respond to the real conditions in each poultry operation. This allows us to support and advise our customers based on objective evidence while helping strengthen flock health and performance.
By combining data visualization, statistical analysis and the practice expertise of our veterinarians, we are able to interpret results more accurately and connect them with meaningful solutions —whether the issue begins in the hatchery, on the farm, or at the processing plant.
Our Methodology : Three Steps, 3 Analyses
1. Health Situation
This analysis aims at evaluating the field challenge and vaccine take using individual serology titers. This step helps determine whether birds have mounted an adequate immune response.
2. Performance KPIs
At the hatchery, farm, and/or slaughterhouse level, all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are analyzed, in relation to the vaccination program and flock challenge status (challenged vs unchallenged).
3. Translation into Economics
The RWE statistical analysis supports poultry producers in their decision-making process. It is a proven tool to continuously improve outcomes and confidently choose the most effective vaccination strategy.
